Keith Polito is a freelance tuba player with roots in Elgin, IL. He has had the privilege of performing with many groups including the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Sinfonietta, the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, and the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. As an active educator, Mr. Polito leads sectionals with the Elgin Youth Symphony orchestras and coaches small ensembles with the Elgin Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. He has also given masterclasses at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, the University of Illinois, Vandercook College, and Morton College. When Keith is not on stage performing, he can be found in his shop restoring, repairing, cleaning, and modifying brass instruments.
