Welcome to the 2026–2027 Season with Lakeshore Brass

We're excited to be back for another season as Concordia's Ensemble in Residence, and we mean that more than it might sound. This residency has given Lakeshore Brass something every ensemble needs: a community to play for. A room full of people who return, who bring friends, who stay to talk after the last note. That's not something you can manufacture. We found it here, and we're not letting it go.

What keeps us going is you. The families, the music lovers, the first-timers dragged along by a friend who knew better. The regulars who've quietly claimed their favorite seat. Over three seasons, this series has become a place where people find each other, and we work hard every year to give you a reason to come back.

This season, we have three programs we're proud of. In November, A British Invasion! takes a musical journey through the songs and traditions of the British Isles, from folk tunes and sea shanties to the soaring brass writing of Vaughan Williams, Holst, and Arnold. In December, the Christmas Spectacular returns with beloved holiday favorites and the Nutcracker Suite arranged for brass quintet, warm and familiar and exactly what December should feel like. Then in March, A Night at the Movies pairs live brass quintet performances with projected film visuals, letting you hear what Star Wars, Titanic, The Incredibles, and Psycho sound like when the music has the room to itself.

Whether you've been with us from the beginning or this is your first season, we're glad you're here. Come early, bring someone, stay for the whole thing.
